The sixth of six important Agape passages is an observation.

St. John, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was sitting next to Jesus in the Upper Room.  He saw how much Jesus loved His disciples – and the world.

John relates that it is from this Love his beloved Savior showed the full extent of the Love He felt in His heart.  In the coming hours of Thursday evening and Good Friday, no one would get in His way.  Nothing did.

“Having loved His own who were in the world, He (Jesus) now showed them the full extent of His love.” (NIV 1984)

Showing the full  extent of  God’s Love – Agape is the vision Jesus sets for every Christian and every Church.  If we made that our vision, imagine the change that would occur in our lives, in our church and in our world.

The possibilities are staggering!   Catch His Vision!
