This is the fifth of six very important Bible passages about God’s Love.

“Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”

The Holy Spirit challenges us to rethink on how we live our life and to let Him lead us to life changing decisions.

The First decision is to see that Love is not what we do, but what we are.

The Second decision is let the Holy Spirit form us to be imitators of God.  If “God is Love,” that is what we imitate – Love.

The Third decision we make is to live a life of love (Agape).  Open your heart to the Holy Spirit so that He can teach you how to walk and talk, live and breathe God’s Love.

The Fourth decision is to be just as Christ.  Give up any claim to our life, and give ourselves to God, which includes a heart set to willingly obey the Ten Commandments of God.   1 John 5:3-4, “This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome.”

Our life of Love is to our God – a fragrant and sweet-smelling sacrifice.

Isn’t that great?  Go for it!
